Conflict schedules, built around your company

Green Room Pro makes conflict scheduling simpler, with a person-first company view and clear control over who can enter conflicts.

  • Start with the person

Company opens with a searchable list of cast and crew. Tap a person to view or update their conflicts, then return directly to the company list.

  • Choose who enters conflicts

Directors and stage managers can choose Managers only or Members and managers from Conflict entry in the Company view. Managers can always enter or change conflicts for any production member.

  • Add dates with less effort

The editor starts with one all-day date. Several dates, specific times, and weekly repeat options appear when you need them.

  • Keep everyone informed

Members can view their own recorded conflicts when managers handle entry. Managers retain the change history. New productions start with manager entry; existing productions keep their current member-editing access until a manager changes it.

Updates that stay out of your way

Quiet downloads, a small update banner, and a return to your screen after restarting make Green Room updates less disruptive.

  • Keep using Green Room while updates download

Routine app updates download quietly. When an update is ready, a small banner offers Restart or dismissal so you can finish what you opened the app to do.

  • Return to your screen after restarting

When you choose Restart, Green Room saves your supported screen and selected organization, then restores them after the update. A new notification or invitation takes priority.

  • Read release notes when you are ready

Release notes remain available in Profile → Updates, with an unread badge, instead of opening automatically over your screen.

  • You will see this on the next update

This update installs the new experience. You may still see the old restart dialog while installing it. The smaller banner will appear the next time an update is downloaded after this one is applied.

Share a production join link in your welcome email or display its QR code so your company can join without individual invitations.

  • Share one invitation with your company

Production managers can create a reusable join link, copy it into an email, or share and print its QR code.

  • Control when people can join

Pause and resume your link, replace it with a fresh one, or delete it when you are finished. Deleting the link collapses the QR panel and keeps existing members in the production.

  • Move smoothly from signup to your production

New members can create an account, verify their email, and continue to join the production without repeating signup. Existing members can sign in to join.

  • Keep production roles in your hands

People joining through the shared link start as cast members. Production managers can assign other roles afterward, and existing members keep their roles.

Guardian safety and calendars that fit your company

Age-aware invitations, guardian alerts for flagged direct messages, production time zones, and calendar choice are now available on iOS and Android.

  • Invite younger cast and crew clearly

Open signup asks adults to confirm they are 18 or older. Production managers can invite teens ages 13–17 with a guardian email. A parent or guardian can participate on behalf of a child under 13 using their own adult account.

  • Connect teens and guardians with consent

The teen and guardian each confirm their link before teen direct messaging is enabled. A manager can also start guardian setup for an existing member.

  • Review flagged messages, not entire chats

Eligible new and edited direct messages involving a linked teen are checked. Flagged message text is shared only with the linked guardian. Only the individual message text is sent to a third-party service for safety classification; we do not attach account details, attachments, or surrounding chat history. Checks can miss concerns or flag harmless text.

  • Keep calls in the right time zone

Set an organization or production time zone so rehearsals and performances have clearer local times.

  • Choose a personal calendar for sync

Select or create a calendar for exported events. Later syncs update the same events instead of making duplicates.

Cast conflicts, clearer scheduling, and Pro upgrades

Green Room Pro helps your production collect cast availability, see the company schedule, and spot conflicts before saving an event.

  • Share conflicts for your production

Invited cast and crew can enter unavailable dates and times, or add weekly conflicts. Your organization’s Pro plan covers everyone in the production.

  • Review the company’s availability

Directors and stage managers can switch between a day agenda and week grid, review individual conflicts, and search or filter the company’s recorded conflicts.

  • Spot overlaps before scheduling

Event creation and editing flag conflicts for the people and groups actually called, including recurring dates. Review the warning before choosing to schedule anyway.

  • Keep changes visible

Added and Last edited dates, a history of edits and removals, and flags for changes made after an event was created help managers understand when availability changed. There is no submission cutoff.

  • Upgrade your organization to Pro

Owners and admins can open secure web checkout from Pro feature highlights. On iOS and Android, the upgrade link opens in your browser. Cast members do not need an individual subscription.

August 28 release

Green Room now helps teams get set up more quickly, makes everyday scheduling clearer, and keeps conversations easier to find.

  • Get started with a guided checklist

New teams can follow a simple setup path for creating a production, adding the first event, and inviting collaborators.

  • Create productions and events with less friction

Cleaner forms keep the essentials up front, make dates and times easier to review, and move optional details out of the way until they are needed.

  • Find the conversation you need

Chat search now looks across conversation names, recent messages, productions, organizations, and groups—even when the production has closed.

  • Keep scheduling focused on active work

Archived productions no longer appear when adding an event, so it is easier to choose the right show.

  • Rely on safer updates and deletion controls

App updates now preserve your signed-in session, and only the person who created a production can delete it.

August 24 release

Crew can now add to production Galleries

Production Galleries are easier to build together, while directors and stage managers keep the moderation tools they already rely on.

  • Share photos and videos

Anyone assigned to a non-actor production role can add media to the Gallery. Actors can continue viewing everything the team shares.

  • Manage your contributions

Contributors can edit the titles of their own uploads or remove them when plans change.

Version 1.5

Production budgets and inventory QR labels

Green Room Pro added a connected toolkit for planning production spending, reviewing purchases, and finding physical inventory.

  • Build a flexible production budget

Set a total budget, create lines for any department or need, and assign the right production members to each one.

  • Submit and review expenses

Capture receipts, record purchase details, and move expenses through approval while keeping the remaining budget current.

  • Scan and print inventory labels

Give every inventory item a printable QR label and asset code so the team can open it instantly in Green Room.

Version 1.3

Organization inventory for Pro

Pro organizations gained one shared home for the props, costumes, and set pieces they use from show to show.

  • Keep useful details together

Add a photo, location, condition, and the details your team needs to recognize each item.

  • Follow items as they move

Maintain a history as inventory changes location or condition across productions.

June release

Rehearsal status, Updates, and a tidier inbox

Green Room made day-to-day production status clearer and added one place for product news, community messages, and feedback.

  • See when rehearsals begin

Production lists and show details now include the rehearsal start date, and shows move into rehearsal status at the right time.

  • Catch up in Updates

Release notes and community messages arrive in one feed, with unread status and a prompt when something new is ready.

  • Send feedback from the app

Share an idea or report a problem directly from Profile without stepping away from the production.

  • Keep closed-show chats out of the way

Active and closed production conversations are separated, and each person can archive the chats they no longer need.

May release

A clearer season calendar for production leaders

Directors and organization admins gained a broader view across their productions without losing the audience rules that keep each event focused.

  • Scan the month at a glance

A full month view, clearer production names, and a more useful Today control make busy calendars easier to navigate.

  • See work across the organization

Production leaders can move between organization shows and review the schedules, announcements, and groups they manage.

  • Recognize every production by color

Production identity colors now stay consistent across calendar and event surfaces.

  • Focus on active shows

Closed productions and their conversations stay available without crowding the default production and chat lists.

Version 1.2

Invitations, safer chat, and smoother navigation

The version 1.2 release made it easier to join the right show, safer to collaborate, and more dependable to move through Green Room every day.

  • Open invitations from email

Branded invitation links open the right signup path with the invited email ready, on both iOS and Android.

  • Report and block when needed

Chat gained content reporting, user blocking, and a place in Profile to manage blocked accounts.

  • Run organization-wide conversations

Production leaders can create organization chats, add directors, and manage conversation members.

  • Move through a more consistent app

Unified headers, safer mobile spacing, and live production-list updates keep navigation predictable.

One production. One dependable plan.
